Study Launch Event: “The Transition to Renewable Energy: Opportunities and Policy Recommendations”

The study analyses the barriers slowing down the transition to renewable energy and offers concrete solutions for accelerating this process, taking into account the new conditions in which the country's economy finds itself after 1 January 2025. It will present the opportunities for developing the sector and the essential steps that the authorities can follow to facilitate this change.

The policy brief includes clear recommendations for decision-makers, designed to support a faster and more efficient transition to renewable energy sources.

• Where? The conference hall of the Courtyard by Marriott hotel, 21/A Arborilor St., Chișinău

 The event will be held in Romanian, with simultaneous interpretation into English for those who wish it.

Representatives of central public authorities, managements of state-owned companies in the energy sector, relevant associations, delegates of international donors, civil society, as well as experts in the field are expected to attend.
