Round table: Presentation of the results of monitoring the implementation of the Court of Accounts recommendations for 2016

The event aims to discuss the results of the study “How public money is lost: Monitoring the implementation of the Court of Accounts recommendations for 2016”, prepared by Tatiana Savva between August 2015 and January 2017. The publication analyses in particular the responses received from the Court of Accounts on the implementation of the recommendations set out in its reports, according to several criteria: Discipline, Quality and Impact.

The report also contains a systematic assessment of the involvement of law enforcement bodies in implementing the Court of Accounts recommendations and in recovering damages, as well as a comparative analysis of the recommendations issued by several supreme audit institutions from other countries (Poland, Sweden, Estonia).

Representatives of line ministries and civil society, as well as experts in the field, are invited to the event. 

The conference will be held in Romanian.
