“Economic Reality Analysed by Expert-Grup”: 2nd Edition on the State of the Economy, EU Negotiations, State-Owned Enterprises and Municipal Bonds

The series takes place on the last Tuesday of every month and consists of a brief public report on the organisation’s activity, a presentation of the latest developments in the Moldova Economic Thermometer — the monthly tool developed by Expert-Grup that shows which phase of the economic cycle the economy is in, where it is heading and what the main challenges are — as well as comments by Expert-Grup experts on the main economic events of the month.

The conference will take place at the Expert-Grup office, Chișinău, 3 Vlaicu Pârcălab Street, and will be broadcast live on Expert-Grup’s Facebook and YouTube pages. 

Topics of the month: recent developments in the economy through the lens of the Economic Thermometer and the latest monetary policy decisions of the National Bank of Moldova, the report of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee on state-owned enterprises, comments on the opening of negotiations on the clusters “Internal Market” and “Competitiveness and Inclusive Growth”, the findings of the study “The Impact of Municipal Bond Issuances in the Republic of Moldova” and other topical issues.

The presentations last about 45 minutes and are followed by 30 minutes of questions from the press. After the conference, the speakers are available for individual interviews.
