What should the next Government do to relaunch the economy?

The seven priorities cover fiscal consolidation, public investment, the capital market, fiscal decentralisation, competitiveness, human capital and public property reform. For each of them, the infographic presents the diagnosis, the concrete measures proposed and the effects expected from their implementation.

The authors stress that they chose not to invent anything new. All the priorities restate recommendations made in earlier Expert-Grup publications, including the State of the Country Report, position papers and economic commentaries. In the authors’ words, these recommendations have remained relevant to this day, unfortunately or not.
