BNM and Expert-Grup launch the 6th edition of the Financial Education Camp for young people across the country

Dragu told participants that financial education is a compass for turning resources into opportunities, and that they would also become ambassadors of financial literacy in their communities. Lupușor stressed discipline, saving from the first earnings and turning savings into investments, and called for public institutions, financial authorities, civil society and academia to join forces, noting the partnership with the National Bank has lasted over six years.

The programme has four 90-minute sessions covering the financial system, the benefits of Moldova joining SEPA, cashless payments and innovation, smart saving and investing, and first steps in starting a business. A closing quiz will reward the top ten winners with coin sets and backpacks. The camp was launched in 2020 under the "Dă sens banilor" project.
