Tulip Business Incubator 3.0 - a support program for young entrepreneurs from the Republic of Moldova (3rd edition)

Project goal and objectives
The purpose of the project is to strengthen the role of young entrepreneurs in the Republic of Moldova as drivers of private sector development, job creation, and social progress. The project addresses two key challenges facing the national start-up ecosystem: a shortage of essential entrepreneurial skills and limited access to finance.
The specific objective of the project is to support 30 young entrepreneurs from the Republic of Moldova in launching and developing their own businesses through an integrated program comprising capacity building, personalized mentoring, and facilitated access to financial resources.
Key Activities
Identification, selection, and enrollment of 30 young entrepreneurs in the program.
Organization of a series of training sessions on relevant topics: business plan development, applying for bank loans, and preparing to access funding from government and/or donor-funded programs.
Organization of a business plan competition. The 30 entrepreneurs participating in the training sessions will develop short business plans to qualify for the pitching stage. Ten business ideas will be selected for presentation during the pitching session, from which five winners will be chosen to receive funding for the purchase of products and/or services needed for business development.
Provision of entrepreneurial mentorship for the grant winners.
Organization of a project closing event to showcase results, success stories, and lessons learned.
Evaluation of the project's impact and reporting of evaluation results to the donor.
The "Tulip Business Incubator 3.0" support program for young entrepreneurs in the Republic of Moldova is implemented by the Independent Analytical Center "Expert-Grup," with the support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the Republic of Moldova and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).
