Request for proposals: written translation, editing and incorporation of changes services
The public association Independent Think Tank “Expert-Grup” announces a competition to select two companies/individuals to translate and integrate, from English into Romanian and from English into Russian respectively, version 3 of the publication “Deepening EU–Moldovan Relations”, prepared within the project “Understanding the EU Association Agreement and DCFTA with Ukraine, Georgia and the Republic of Moldova”. One person will be responsible for translating and integrating the entire text into one of the languages: either from English into Romanian, or from English into Russian.
Version 3 of the publication is based on version 2, which was translated into the 2 languages in 2018. The final text with changes visible in Track Changes compared with version 2 is available on request.
The estimated total volume of characters modified and inserted in the original version 3 (English) is 290,303 without spaces out of a total of 602,774 characters without spaces.
To participate in the competition, the bidder must send the following documents to: procurari@expert-grup.org
- A personal CV or, for legal entities, the full CV of the translator who will carry out the translation. The CV must include all relevant experience;
- A financial offer showing the total net price and any taxes that may apply (for example: VAT for companies).
Minimum requirements for bidders:
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in written translation of similar documents at the level of international organisations;
- Understanding of legal, economic, financial and political terminology (similar experience with such translations);
- Experience in translating European legislation is an advantage.
The deadline for submitting offers is 15 February 2021, 10:00.
The deadline for submitting the final translated and edited material: 9 March 2021.
