Call for Proposals – Simultaneous Interpretation Services
The Independent Think Tank “Expert-Grup” announces a competition to form a roster of interpreters (companies or individuals) to provide simultaneous interpretation services from Romanian into English and vice versa, and from Romanian into Russian and vice versa.
Field and terminology used: economic, social, public policy.
To familiarise themselves with the terminology, bidders are encouraged to visit the website expert-grup.org to learn about the activity of Expert-Grup and the nature of the materials published and events held.
The selected individuals/companies will be included in the roster of interpreters for simultaneous interpretation from Romanian into English and vice versa, and from Romanian into Russian and vice versa. Interpretation will be requested as needed, depending on the activities and projects carried out by Expert-Grup.
Minimum requirements for bidders:
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in simultaneous interpretation from Romanian into English at government and international organisation level, public events, etc.;
- Familiarity with and understanding of legal and macroeconomic terminology (previous experience with such interpretation).
The application file will include:
- A CV indicating previous experience;
- Materials demonstrating the candidate's previous experience (links to events, etc.);
- The registration certificate or licence (in the case of legal entities).
Financial offer in EUR (net). Please indicate the price for half a day (4 hours) and the price for one day (8 hours). Please complete the financial offer according to the model below:

- Indicate the maximum number of hours of simultaneous interpretation that can be provided in one day.

Bid evaluation criteria:
- The submitted files will be evaluated by the selection committee according to the following criteria:
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in simultaneous interpretation from Romanian into English and English at government and international organisation level;
- Familiarity with and understanding of legal and macroeconomic terminology (previous experience with such interpretation);
- Evaluation of the financial offer.
