Deadline extended: Independent Think Tank “Expert-Grup” announces a competition to hire a project assistant

1. Nature of the contract: permanent employment contract. Probation period – 3 months;
2. Working hours: 40 hours per week, usually from 9.00 to 18.00, Monday to Friday;
3. Start date: negotiable;
4. Workplace: Expert-Grup office.

The main tasks of the project assistant relate to:

• Develops and organises activities related to Expert-Grup's project communication;
• Edits the materials produced by Expert-Grup and ensures their printing and distribution, both electronically and in hard copy;
• Monitors media coverage online and in the print press;
• Contributes to improving internal communication;
• Keeps the register of Expert-Grup's correspondence;
• Handles the logistical aspects of organising Expert-Grup events assigned to them (sending invitations, copying sets of materials for participants, preparing the room, checking attendance at the event, taking photographs during the event, etc.);
• Provides logistical assistance to the Director of the administrative, financial and communication service.

To fill this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in communication, journalism, economics or other relevant fields;
• Accuracy and promptness;
• Advanced knowledge of Romanian, English and Russian;
• Use of a computer in daily work and advanced command of MS Office, Windows and the internet;
• Basic knowledge of economics and public policy will be an advantage.
