Are you a student or graduate of an economics faculty who wants to get involved in the analysis, research and resolution of economic problems? If so, the Independent Think Tank “Expert-Grup” is committed to recognising and rewarding your involvement in achieving these objectives.

The “Young Economist” programme is organised to support the integration of young economists into the environment of economic and financial analysis and research, thus offering the opportunity to gain both practical knowledge in the field and unique skills. We are looking for a person to support the activities of the Expert-Grup team in projects covering various areas related to economic development in general, and to increasing the level of financial education in particular.

The activities planned under the programme are to be carried out over a period of 4 months in an extremely active and collegial environment (about 20 hours/week (part-time), between 9:00 and 18:00). Here you will have the chance to work with economists who have vast experience and you will be given a series of responsibilities in conducting analyses and research and organising public events, activities that will considerably improve your professional skills.

Who is eligible?

Students of economics faculties with good academic results;
Young economists eager to work alongside the Expert-Grup team in carrying out economic research and in developing public policy recommendations;
People with analytical skills and attention to detail.

In addition to the criteria mentioned, we will greatly appreciate the motivation to contribute to the smooth running of activities and respect for the values of our organisation.

Selected candidates will be invited to an interview with the Expert-Grup team. The contract lasts 4 months, from 10 September 2019 to 10 January 2020. Expert-Grup aims to enjoy diversity among its team members and encourages women to apply.
