Launch of the study “Tax Morale and Stimulating Tax Revenue Collection to the Budget”
Expert-Grup, in partnership with the Soros Foundation Moldova / Good Governance Programme, presents the study “Tax Morale and Stimulating Tax Revenue Collection to the Budget by State Institutions”.
The purpose of the study is to highlight the complex causes of the tax gap in the Republic of Moldova. The study analyses the causes and structure of the unobserved economy, presents the theoretical concept of the tax gap and carries out a summary assessment of it, while the central subject is tax morale and its implications for tax compliance. The results obtained on this subject are based on a representative sociological survey conducted among citizens of the Republic of Moldova. Representatives of the relevant ministries, civil society and experts interested in the subject will take part in the discussions.
