The Independent Think Tank “Expert-Grup” will hold the round table “Assessing the Efficiency and Transparency of the Use of Public Resources Allocated to Culture”.

The main objective of the round table is to discuss the results of the study “Assessing the Efficiency and Transparency of the Use of Public Resources Allocated to Culture”, coordinated by Dumitru Budianschi, Programme Director at EXPERT-GRUP. The study analyses the policy, institutional and legal framework of this sector, as well as its funding. A specific analysis was also carried out for individual areas of culture and the arts (cultural heritage, written culture, arts education, and material heritage in rural areas intended for the provision of cultural services) and concludes that reforms in the field of culture have been greatly delayed, while the state's presence in this field is unjustifiably large.
