Round table: ”Assessment of the women economic empowerment support programs”

However, women continue to face a lot of challenges related to gender inequalities in the distribution of paid and unpaid work, women's primary responsibilities for unpaid housekeeping work and inequalities in the access to economic opportunities, which stem from historically unequal relationships between men and women.

In this context, ”Expert-Grup” Independent Think-Tank, in partnership with the Women’s Law Center and with the financial support of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Sweden in the Republic of Moldova, has developed the study: ”Assessment of the women economic empowerment support programs”. The scope of the study is to evaluate recent programs funded from external sources, directed at stimulating women's economic empowerment, including vulnerable women groups, and to provide recommendations on streamlining women's economic empowerment programs and appropriate national policies for them, in order to better target the most vulnerable groups and to ensure a stronger impact.

We invite you to attend an online round table and to discuss this topic. The event will take place on March 25, 2021, at 10:00 (AM), via the Zoom.us Platform.

The agenda  

The event will gather representatives of state institutions, civil society, diplomatic missions, development partners, national and international experts. 

Romanian will be the working language during the event. Simultaneous interpretation into English will be provided.
