Public hearing: the need to develop private and non-governmental kindergartens and nurseries: problems and solutions

The purpose of the event is to identify the problems faced by the private/NGO pre-school and early childhood education services sector in the Republic of Moldova, to reconfirm the reasons why the state needs it as a complement, and to examine how the development of private and non-governmental services could help improve the services available to families with children in Moldova.

Post-event update:

Based on the discussions during the public hearing, an information note was drawn up, which will be distributed to UNICEF, the Government and other relevant decision-makers. The attached document contains recommendations for developing a pre-school education services sector that is in line with the interests of families with children and with child protection objectives.
